Today (December 20th 2016) Governor Nathan Deal lifted the temporary ban on fireworks in Georgia.  The lighting of fireworks were temporarily banned due to drought conditions in parts of the state.    The recent rainfall throughout the region has reduced the threat of wildfires.  See official Excecutive Order
